RoyOMartin announces Peters' retirement, other corporate changes

RoyOMartin recently announced employee-related changes, including the retirement of Ray Peters, vice president of human resources and marketing.

Peters, who has been RoyOMartin for the past 18 years, will retire in February. Donna Bailey, who joined the human resources team in 2005, has been promoted to vice president of human resources. Prior to this appointment, she served as corporate director of employee engagement.

Bobby Byrd, who has worked for RoyOMartin for 28 years, has been named the company's director of OSB sales and marketing. His expanded role includes product marketing. Plywood Sales Manager Lori Byrd will work with Bobby Byrd on marketing RoyOMartin's plywood and solid wood products. She joined the company in 1997.

Leigh Ann Purvis, who joined RoyOMartin in 2003, has been named corporate communications manager. Most recently she served as the company's creative development manager.

RoyOMartin, a privately held company celebrates is 95th anniversary in 2018.
