The Justice Conference, a two-day annual event that focuses on justice-related issues such as human trafficking, slavery, poverty, HIV/AIDS, and human rights, will be held at the Orpheum Theater in Los Angeles and at satellite locations across the country on February 21-22, 2014. Dr. Bernice King will join the country's leading justice and human rights advocates as a speaker in the fourth annual conference, organized by World Relief, the humanitarian arm of the National Association of Evangelicals.

"As we approach Martin Luther King Day, I'm reminded of and inspired by this great man's fight against injustice," said Stephan Bauman, president of World Relief. "His message is just as relevant today as it was 50 years ago- 'Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter'. The Justice Conference is a place to discuss human rights injustices like slavery, urban poverty and HIV/AIDS, and inspire the social change that Dr. King sought to achieve so many years ago. I'm humbled and honored to have his message live on through his daughter Bernice at this year's conference."

Confirmed speakers and artists for this year's conference include:

  • Bernice King - American Baptist Minister, world-renowned speaker and Chief Executive Officer of The King Center which was founded by her mother, Coretta Scott King, in 1968.
