A recent survey published by Nucleus Research found that customers choose Laserfiche—an innovative provider of enterprise content management software—over competitors for three main factors: user-friendly interface, sophisticated functionality, superior customer support. Nucleus Research also determined that the client retention rate for the survey was greater than 90 percent. The survey, “Why Clients Choose and Stay with Laserfiche,” is available for download here.

Nucleus analyst Barbara Z. Peck, author of the survey, noted one customer’s review of the software: “excellent search capabilities, easy to customize, and efficient.” Users also noted that Laserfiche delivers “robust security and compliance capabilities necessary in the current business environment.”

Laserfiche was also positioned as a leader in Nucleus Research’s Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Technology Value Matrix 2016 based on increased business process automation and content analytics capabilities, high usability and integration tools. The matrix evaluates the changing trends affecting the ECM market, including increased automation and expanded embedded functionality, while analyzing the innovations made by top vendors in 2016.

“Customers now expect ECM products to significantly cut down ramp-up time for new users as usability factors more and more into the bottom lines,” said Nucleus Research analyst Fernando Cruz, author of the ECM Technology Value Matrix report. “As expectations for enterprise collaboration reach critical mass, the most successful vendors will focus on seamlessly connecting projects across departments.”

Nucleus Research identified Laserfiche’s continued focus on the intersection of business process management (BPM), analytics and collaboration. The report highlighted the Laserfiche Business Process Library, which provides template solutions to help organizations accelerate deployments and user adoption. “Laserfiche’s Business Process Library delivers higher usability for customers with nearly 100 configurable templates that cover business functions for departments such as accounting and finance, HR, IT, legal, and others,” the report said.

Also among the ECM Technology Value Matrix highlights, “case management views within Laserfiche web client and enhancements to Laserfiche Forms both aim to drive automation and business operation transformation, and improve relevant team visibility of cases.”

“We believe Laserfiche’s outstanding customer retention rate and move into Nucleus Research’s Leader quadrant emphasize our ongoing innovation,” said Thomas Phelps IV, Vice President of Corporate Strategy and CIO at Laserfiche. “Our products offer intuitive tools that organizations use to drive digital transformation and realize significant enhancements to their efficiency, productivity and collaboration.”
