Greg Hayes Promoted to President at Kish Bank

STATE COLLEGE, PA - January 25, 2018 - William P. Hayes, Chairman and CEO of Kish Bank, has announced that Gregory T. Hayes has been promoted to the position of President and Chief Operating Officer of Kish Bank. His promotion, by unanimous action of the Board at its meeting on January 25, 2018, is accompanied by his appointment to the Kish Bank Board of Directors. Hayes previously served as the bank's Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, a position and title he has held since June of 2016.

Chairman and CEO Bill Hayes, who had previously held the additional title of President, will retain his overall leadership responsibilities as the Chairman and

Chief Executive Officer of the Bank and holding company. Chairman Hayes stated, "Greg and I have shared leadership duties for several years and he has continued to build the trust and confidence of the entire Kish team. He has demonstrated an exceptional capacity for execution across a broad spectrum of management responsibilities, coupled with an ever increasing level of engagement, strategic vision, knowledge, and leadership. He has exhibited a deep commitment to building the capacity of the company to deliver an unequalled client experience that will carry Kish forward for many years to come."

With this promotion, the Board of Directors has taken the next step in the long term management succession plan for Kish Bank and the Corporation. With the expanded title of President, COO Hayes will have broadened responsibility for overall oversight of all sales, marketing, and support functions, as well as expanded responsibilities for enterprise-wide risk management and regulatory engagement. In his role as President and COO, Hayes, along with all C-level Executive VPs who comprise the Office of the Chairman, will continue to report to the Chairman and CEO.

"I continue to be grateful for the confidence being placed in me," said Hayes. "The overriding focus of this organization on fulfilling the needs of our clients is a passion that I share with every one of our team members. It drives me to provide them with the leadership and support they need to do that successfully. I am proud to take on this expanded responsibility for ensuring that Kish continues to deliver excellence for our clients. How people manage their banking and financial health may change dramatically in the coming years, but the care provided by those at Kish who deliver consultative and innovative solutions will continue to differentiate Kish. I am excited to help guide this vision for the future of Kish."

Since joining Kish Bank in 2006, Hayes has built his management skillset as a branch manager; retail and commercial lender; Vice President of Lending Services; Senior Vice President of Retail Banking and Client Solutions; Executive Vice President and Head of Retail Banking and Client Solutions; and, most recently, as Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. During his tenure at Kish, Hayes graduated with honors from both the PA Bankers School of Commercial Lending and the Advanced School of Banking. In recent years, he led the design and development of Kish's newest concept in clientengagement, The Expect More Store on Allen Street in downtown State College, and is presently overseeing the transformation and expansion of many of Kish's branches and facilities.

Prior to joining Kish Bank, Hayes was a Mechanical Services Engineer at Merck and Company outside of Philadelphia, where he managed the construction and startup of Merck's cervical cancer vaccine manufacturing facility. While in the Philadelphia area, he was a member of the National U.S. Dragon Boat Team, medaling in several World Championship competitions. Hayes is a graduate of Lafayette College, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering. He attended high school at the Peddie School and Indian Valley High School. He was born and raised in Belleville.

Active in the community, Hayes is a Director of the PA Bankers Advanced School of Banking and serves as Board Chair of the Bob Perks Fund, which financially supports individuals and families battling cancer in Blair, Centre, Clearfield, and Huntingdon counties. He has served as Treasurer and President of the Board of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Centre County, Treasurer of the Board for Friends of the Palmer Museum of Art, Chairperson of the College Township Parks and Recreation Committee, and Treasurer and President of the Board of Managers for the State College Branch of the YMCA of Centre County. He also served as a volunteer coach of the Rowing Club at Penn State. He received the Centre County Community Foundation's "Future of the Foundation Award" for his extraordinary commitment to the community in 2011.

He and his wife, Meghan, reside in State College and are the parents of two young children: Aidan William, 7, and Sarah Margaret, 3.
