Kenyan shilling stable as business resumes for new year

The Kenyan shilling was stable on Friday with inflows from remittances and offshore investors buying government debt meeting dollar demand from merchandise importers, traders said.

At 0800 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 100.90/101.10 per dollar, the same as Thursday's close.
