STORY: The flood struck in the early hours of Monday (April 29), sweeping away houses, cars and railway tracks. Dozens have died and more are missing.

Around 100 tourists were stranded during ongoing flooding. Among them was a Canadian newlywed couple that was on their honeymoon.

"I was very scared, and looking around and wondering, oh my goodness is this river going to keep going?" said 34 year old tourist, Dan Pasmans.

Workers and visitors have been evacuated safely and transferred to nearby hotels and camps where there is no flooding, reserve staff said.
