BUENA PARK, CA--(Marketwired - Jan 13, 2014) -  Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament and the Orange County Food Bank have partnered on a crusade against hunger. From now until February 13, 2014, the Buena Park castle will offer a special discounted rate of 50% off adult tickets and 25% off children tickets to any guest who brings a nonperishable food item to the Buena Park castle and donates it to the food drive.

Join the knights of the realm on Thursday, January 23, 2014, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. when they make a special guest appearance to kick-off the campaign and help pack food boxes at the OC Food Bank. There will be special prizes, tickets and free Medieval Times giveaways. The OC Food Bank is located at 11870 Monarch St. in Garden Grove.

Call 1-888-WE-JOUST (935-6878) or visit www.medievaltimes.com for information on the food drive and reservations.

Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament's California Castle is located at 7662 Beach Blvd. in Buena Park, CA. Medieval Times is Orange County's Celebration Destination and North America's No. 1 dinner attraction.

OC Food Bank Mission: Proceeds will support the food bank which distributes nearly 20 million pounds of food each year to 400 non-profit agencies throughout the county. While requests for emergency food have doubled, donations have dwindled and funding from federal and state programs have been slashed. The results are that the Food Bank is overwhelmed with requests, but short on meeting the demand. Hunger has become a very real problem for our Orange County neighbors.
