JEDEC Solid State Technology Association, the global leader in the development of standards for the microelectronics industry, today announced that it will begin charging non-members for download access to a small number of its published standards as well as selected memory module design files (also known as Gerber Files) this week. The Board of Directors made this decision to provide additional value for membership to JEDEC member companies, who invest significant resources in order to participate in the development of standards which benefit the entire industry. The majority of the published content on the JEDEC website will remain free for all to download at www.jedec.org.
