Itoco Mining Corporation (ITMC) announces the hiring of Mr. JOSE RAMON GUERRERO SANTAFE as their Chief Geologist. This announcement comes after his completion of an 18 month Emerald deposit research contract with Itoco Mining.

Mr. Guerrero, is a professional geologist with 25 years of experience in the Emerald mining industry of Colombia. He has worked on all stages of Emerald exploration and on through to the exploitation phase, including the design and monitoring of underground tunnels for extraction and processing for several senior companies.

Among his achievements are some of the greatest Emerald finds in Muzo, Chivor and Coscuez - all in the Region of Boyacá. He’s made full topographic and geological surveys of the underground tunnels built by the local miners, all of which are unpublished and confidential.

He has participated in the National Congress of Geology, presenting research papers on geological correlations and made litho-strata graphic, structural and geochemical studies of the two flanks of the Colombian Cordillera.

Mr. Guerrero is a professional geologist who received his MSc from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia in 1986.
