INPUT AND OUTPUT PRICE INDICES IN AGRICULTURE - LIVESTOCK: NOVEMBER 2020

The evolution of the Input and Output Price Indices with base year 2015=100.0 for November 2020, according to provisional data, is as follows:

The Output Price Index in Agriculture - Livestock (excluding subsidies)increased by 1.5% in November 2020, compared with November 2019. The corresponding index in November 2019 had recorded a decrease of 2.8%, compared with November 2018 (Table 1, Graph 1).

The increase of 1.5% in the Output Price Index in November 2020 compared with November 2019 is on account of (Table

1. increase 1.9% of the price index in crop output group and mainly on the rates of change of the group vegetables and horticultural products.
   The Output Price Index in November 2020 decreased by 0.6%, in comparison with October 2020 (Table 2).

The twelve-month weighted average output index from December 2019 to November 2020 decreased by 1.2%, compared with the corresponding index of the period from December 2018 to November 2019 (Table 3).

The Input Price Index in Agriculture - Livestockdecreased by 3.3% in November 2020, compared with November 2019. The corresponding index in November 2019 had recorded a decrease of 1.1%, compared with November 2018 (Table 4, Graph 1).

The decrease of 3.3% in the Input Price Index in November 2020 compared with November 2019 is on account of (Table

1. decrease 4.0% of the price index in goods and services currently consumed in agriculture group and mainly on the rates of change of the group energy and lubricants.

The Input Price Index in November 2020, increased by 0.5%, in comparison with October 2020 (Table 5).

The twelve-month average input index from December 2019 to November 2020, decreased by 2.6% compared with the corresponding index of the period from December 2018 to November 2019 (Table 6).
