Halifax Regional Municipality : Quinpool Road Lane Closures for Sewer Lateral Repair

Dexter Construction, on behalf of Halifax Water, will be undertaking sewer lateral repairs on Quinpool Road Thursday, January 25^th, beginning after the morning peak traffic period.

This work will require the closure of the two inbound lanes near 6687 Quinpool Road and Parkwood Terrace. The closure will be required from 9am-4pm. The two outbound lanes will be converted to one lane of traffic in each direction.

Sidewalks will remain open.

Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to ensure smooth traffic and pedestrian flow around the work zone. On site personnel will also maintain communication with local residents and businesses to help minimize disruption. Motorists are asked to use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
