Aeromexico Reports December 2018 Traffic Results

Mexico City, January 8th, 2019 - Grupo Aeromexico S.A.B. de C.V. ("Aeromexico") (BMV: AEROMEX) today reported December 2018 operational results.

  • ● Grupo Aeromexico transported 1 million 885 thousand passengers in December; a 2.9% year-on-year increase. International passenger numbers decreased by 1.4%, while domestic passenger numbers increased by 5.8%.

  • ● Demand, measured in Revenue Passenger Kilometers (RPKs), increased by 3.1%, year-on-year. Aeromexico's capacity, measured in Available Seat Kilometers (ASKs), increased by 0.8% year-on-year.

  • ● Aeromexico's December load factor was 82.1%, 1.9 p.p. higher than December 2017.

  • ● "Load Factor" equals the number of passengers transported as a percentage of the number of seats offered. It is a measure of the airline's capacity utilization. This metric considers the total passengers transported and total seats available in itinerary flights only.
