MEXICO CITY, May 18, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Grupo Aeromexico S.A.B. de C.V. (BMV: AEROMEX) (the "Company"), was informed today by Citi Holdings, that it has executed definitive agreements for the transfer, in several transactions, all of its shares of the Company which were approximately 16% of the outstanding capital stock. Additionally, it was informed that certain shareholders and members of the board, including Mr. Eduardo Tricio Haro, have executed definitive agreements to acquire, independently, some of such shares, increasing their holdings in the capital stock of the Company, without any of them acquiring on this date more than 5% of shares of the capital stock.
Also, the Company was informed that Barclays Capital Securities Limited has executed definitive agreements to purchase some of the shares held within Citi Holdings (approximately 8% of the outstanding shares), in connection with a derivative transaction executed with Delta Air Lines, Inc., which may or may not be settled in shares of the Company.
