Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP (Freshfields) announced today that it will be co-chairing the American Conference Institute’s 4th National Forum on CFIUS & Team Telecom. The event will be held in Washington, D.C. on January 31, 2018.

Shawn Cooley, Special Counsel for Freshfields’ Antitrust, Competition and Trade practice focused on CFIUS, will be giving the opening remarks at the event along with fellow co-chair from White & Case LLP, Partner Farhad Jalinous. Shawn will also be speaking on the panel: “Delays, Political Vacancies and Uncertainty: Practitioners Discuss Recent, ‘On the Ground’ Successes and Challenges to Obtaining CFIUS Approvals.”
