RESIGNATION OF DIRECTOR

The board (the ''Board'') of directors (the ''Directors'') of Cornerstone Financial Holdings Limited (the ''Company'') announces that with effect from 31 January 2018, Mr. Chen Xiaoping (''Mr. Chen'') has resigned as an executive Director of the Company owing to his commitments in other business. Mr. Chen has confirmed that he has no disagreement with the Board and there is no other matter in relation to his resignation that should be brought to the attention of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited and the shareholders of the Company.

The Board would like to express its sincere gratitude to Mr. Chen for his contributions towards the Company during his tenure of office.
