Firstsource today announced the appointment of David Strickler as President and CEO of its MedAssist® Provider Group, part of Firstsource's Healthcare Practice. In this role, Strickler will oversee all aspects of the Healthcare Provider Group including operations, finance and sales. Mitzi Winters, who served as interim CEO, will continue to lead operations for the Provider Group as Chief Operating Officer.

An MBA graduate from Cornell University, Strickler brings to the company years of experience across several industries, with an emphasis in healthcare. His background includes significant P&L responsibility for leading organizations such as The Advisory Board Company, McKinsey & Company Inc. and Westinghouse Electric Corporation. Strickler most recently served as Senior Vice President of Operations for Accretive Health, which he joined during its early years and played a variety of roles, including serving several of the firm's key clients and helping to develop and build its shared service operating model.
