NIK KERN NAMED MARSHALL COMMUNITY BANK PRESIDENT AT FIRST MID

MATTOON, IL - First Mid Bank & Trust recently announced Nik Kern as the Marshall Community Bank President. In this role, Kern will be responsible for promoting core business lines of traditional banking, providing leadership for the Clark County locations, and promoting a positive impact on the community. Kern will also continue to carry out his Commercial Loan Officer responsibilities, where he manages commercial and ag business relationships.

Larry Stenger, Regional President, stated, "I'm excited that Nik has stepped into the role as Marshall Community Bank President. With his banking knowledge and relationships that he has formed in the community, he has proven himself to be a great leader."

His past work experience includes the roles of Vice President of Commercial Lending and Credit Analyst at First Bank & Trust. Currently, he serves as the president of the Marshall Rotary Club.
