Field Designs : BIM ISO19650 Accreditation

FSD are proud to announce we are now accredited to ISO19650 Parts 1 & 2 after a successful BSI audit in September

We are all aware of the Government mandate for BIM level 2 compliance on public construction projects. FSD achieved this 5 to 6 years ago by updating a few processes and slightly changing the way we did things. Since then it has been a slow uptake within the industry to manage construction projects to this standard. Now however, the BIM standard is becoming increasingly more common throughout our industry.

During 2020 a small team was assembled to achieve BIM accreditation; this involved the SHEQ department along with leading members from Projects & Tendering, with the help and guidance of our newly appointed BIM Practitioner Geoff Black.
