Jan 31 (Reuters) - San Francisco Federal Reserve Bank President Mary Daly said she expects to raise interest rates in March, but wants to keep "options open" on what level interest rates should rise to by the end of the year.

"I don't want to predetermine what that level should be, because I really do see the two-sided risks we're facing, and so I want to be data dependent," Daly said in a brief phone conversation with Reuters, during which she clarified remarks made earlier in an interview with Reuters Breakingviews that referenced a 1.25% level by the end of the year. "We have to have our options open, right? And if more is needed, more will be done. If less is needed, less will be done, but we have to have our options open."
