The American Farm Bureau's final day of virtual convention programming includes the much-anticipated final round of the Young Farmers & Ranchers Discussion Meet and a conversation with the country's leading advocate for skilled labor.

The Discussion Meet kicks off at 11 a.m. ET, when the final four members are evaluated on their ability to exchange ideas and information on a predetermined topic. The winner of this competition will receive a new Ford truck, courtesy of Ford. Paid registration to the AFBF FUSION Conference, which will be held virtually in March, is also part of the prize package.

At 12:30 p.m. ET, Mike Rowe will join the virtual convention for a fireside chat. Best known for his hit TV series Dirty Jobs, and most recently his show Returning the Favor, featuring people making a difference in their communities, Rowe is also CEO of the mikeroweWORKS Foundation, through which he seeks to debunk myths and misperceptions about blue-collar jobs. His foundation has granted millions of dollars in scholarships to help close the skills gap.

The virtual convention is free to all, and registration remains open throughout the event, which concludes today. Sessions will be available as on-demand content post-airing to all registered attendees. Find the full schedule and registration information at annualconvention.fb.org.
