FCi Federal today announced it has been named a 2017 Future 50 Award winner in the large “Blue Chip” category by SmartCEO. The Future 50 Award recognizes the region’s fastest growing mid-sized companies in two categories -- large “Blue Chip” and small “Emerging Growth.”

“I am privileged to accept this honor on behalf of the entire FCi team,” said FCi President & CEO Scott F. Miller. “Their dedication and commitment in support of our government customers and their missions firmly positions FCi Federal as a leader in the government services space and continues to set us on a sustained path for dynamic growth.”

The 2017 Future 50 winners were selected for demonstrated significant growth based on a combined three-year average of revenue and employee growth. The winners collectively generate more than $2.3 billion in annual revenue and employ 10,201 individuals in the Greater Washington, D.C. area. FCi is one of the fastest growing government services firms in the industry. Over the past three years, the company has increased revenues more than 50% year over year. Since 2007, FCi has grown from 35 employees and $1.5 million in revenue to more than 5,000 employees and subcontractors with a projected revenue of more than $200 million this year.

“Ask any CEO and they’ll tell you that leading a fast-growing company is one of the most exhilarating and challenging endeavors an entrepreneur can experience,” said SmartCEO President Jaime Nespor-Zawmon. “From growing a startup to scaling an established organization, this year’s Future 50 winners have executed their growth strategies year after year. More impressively, they have created job opportunities and fueled economic prosperity in our region.”

The 2017 Future 50 Awards will be presented at a ceremony on February 9 and will be featured in SmartCEO magazine.
