European Commission Directorate General for Inte : Support for the Improvement of Business and Investment Climate in Nigeria (BIC)

The project's objective is to reduce the cost of land property registration in four Local Government Areas (LGAs) in Kano State and to improve the investment environment for the construction industry.

These changes will help build a market offer for housing, commercial and industrial property. Activities will create cost-effective, scalable and systematic registration procedures, simplified, more transparent and sustainable land registration systems for both rural and urban areas.

Successful pilot projects will serve as models for other states and LGAs.
