Mumbai, 5 January 2017: Essar Steel India Limited (EStIL) has recorded highest ever quarterly production with a 61% quarter-on-quarter growth in the third quarter ended December 31, 2016. The total flat steel production stood at 1.48 million tonnes, compared to 0.92 million tonnes in the corresponding period last year. Pellet production also grew by 99% to 2.59 million tonnes compared to 1.30 million tonnes in the same quarter last year.
