Blockchain as a new element of ERNE VENTURES strategy

ERNE VENTURES, a venture capital fund listed on NewConnect Stock
exchange in Warsaw, Poland for nearly ten years, has announced an update
to its investment strategy.

The fund investing mainly in video and mobile gaming companies for
years, is concentrating now its strategy on investments in blockchain
technology which has many applications in all areas of life: ranging
from finance sector through industry, to services.

A blockchain is a record of assets and transactions organised into
blocks of ledgers. These blocks constitute a distributed and
unchangeable database based on mathematical algorithms and cryptography
that is impossible to decode and break. Safety and low cost of using are
its additional advantages in comparison woth centralised systems. Each
user of the blockchain has a copy of the same database and new data
blocks are added with the algorithm used in the network. This makes the
system extremely resillient to cyberattacks as it is virtually
impossible to alter a database which is on the computers of thousands of
users.

In its strategy ERNE VENTURES will pay particular attention to projects
aiming to create its own solutions in ICO _Initial Coin Offering_ based
on blockchain, meeting new trends in startup funding.

Many digital issues have a disadvantage of not having complete
information about project designers or insuficient documentation that
would help fully estimate investment risk. The majority of ICOs are also
merely ideas in a very early stage.

ERNE VENTURES will therefore concentrate on the so called 'reverse ICO',
projects with companies that have a product or service ready for sale.
Particular emphasis will be also placed on verifying the origin of the
money with the highest possible standards of AML and KYC requirements.

and they encompass searching for unique projects with global potential
of development, taking up minority shares that ensure higher than
average rates of return.
