ENGIE BRASIL ENERGIA IS INCLUDED IN THE 100 MOST SUSTAINABLE GLOBAL CORPORATIONS

ENGIE BRASIL ENERGIA S.A. ("EBE") (B3: EGIE3, ADR: EGIEY) announces to its shareholders and the market at large that it has been included in the 14th annual ranking of the Global 100 List of the Most Sustainable Large Corporations in 52nd place. The announcement was made in the context of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. The ranking has been prepared since inception in 2005 by Corporate Knights, a Canadian media and investment consultancy, involving the participation of nearly 6 thousand publicly listed companies worldwide.

Each corporation is evaluated based on a combination of up to 17 environmental, social and governance indicators with respect to their industry peers using publicly available information - the companies making up the Global 100 ranking are from 22 countries and encompass all sectors of the economy. EBE is one of five Brazilian corporations to have been included in the list for 2018.

The Global 100 ranking is designed to identify those companies best equipped to sustainably develop over the long term.
