ElmTree Funds, LLC, a leading real estate private equity firm, is pleased to announce that veteran commercial real estate professional Rick Eiseman has joined the firm as Senior Vice President of Operations and Fund Management. In this role, he is responsible for oversight of the Asset Management department including leasing and disposition of properties, portfolio operations and property management functions.

Mr. Eiseman brings to ElmTree more than 20 years of experience, an intimate understanding of real estate markets, longstanding industry relationships, and a track record of exceptional performance. Based out of ElmTree’s headquarters in St. Louis, Mr. Eiseman is also working closely with the firm’s Investment Committee to identify and evaluate investment opportunities through his extensive broker network.

“Adding talent like Rick, with his deep and highly-relevant experience and far-reaching industry network, strengthens our ability to grow our business and advances our investment goals,” said Jim Koman, managing principal at ElmTree Funds. “We look forward to benefiting from Rick’s operational expertise and relationships as we gear up for another highly productive year.”

Prior to joining ElmTree, Mr. Eiseman was a Senior Vice President of Asset Management for Gramercy Property Trust’s office portfolio from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, he was the National Office Leasing Director of Gramercy’s predecessor Gramercy Capital from 2008 to 2016. Before his roles at Gramercy, Mr. Eiseman was a Managing Director of Leasing and Sales for American Financial Realty Trust from 2004 to 2008, and a Vice President at Jones Lang LaSalle from 1998 to 2004. During his career he has been involved in the lease or sale of over 10 million square feet of office, industrial and retail bank space with a total transaction value in excess of $2 billion.

Commenting on his hiring Mr. Eiseman added, “I look forward to being a part of an industry leader, such as ElmTree Funds, where the business decisions are driven by some of the most experienced real estate investment managers in the net lease, sale-leaseback, and build-to-suit sectors. Net lease is considered a safe and secure asset class with its recurring cash flows, and we see strong growth potential for the ElmTree platform as institutional investors look to allocate more capital to real estate.”

Mr. Eiseman has a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from St. Louis University.
