2018 Iowa Renewable Fuels Summit to Explore Impact of Electric Vehicles on Biofuels

JOHNSTON, IOWA - As electric vehicles grow in popularity and availability, what does the future hold for the liquid fuel market? Neelesh Nerurkar, vice president and senior analyst of Clearview Energy Partners, LLC, will address this question and more at the 2018 Iowa Renewable Fuels Summit.

Nerurkar covers renewable fuels, carbon markets, and oil and gas issues at Clearview Energy Partners, LLC. In his address to the Summit, Nerurkar will explore the proliferation of electric vehicles, current market trends, and the potential impact on the renewable fuels industry.

'There is a massive government push behind electric vehicles around the world,' said Iowa Renewable Fuels Association Executive Director Monte Shaw. 'And we need to understand how government policy and changing consumer trends will impact the liquid fuel market, specifically biofuels, over time. The Summit is free to attend and open to the public. Registration is required. The preregistration deadline is January 26, 2018. The Summit will take place at the Meadows Conference Center at Prairie Meadows in Altoona, Iowa on Tuesday, January 30, 2018.
