EDF has updated its offer for the supply of up to four EPR1200 reactors to the Czech Republic, concluding a competitive process for the Dukovany 5 nuclear power plant project.

The offer covers the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of the EPR1200 reactors at Dukovany and Temelín, as well as nuclear fuel management.

This offer is based on a long-term commitment to the Czech operator cEZ and EDU II, valorizing the advantages of competitiveness and industrial synergies.

EDF plans to expand its activities in Prague to facilitate local coordination and strengthen training programs. The idea is to ensure long-term cooperation between Czech and French industries, offering access to EPR technology and best practices in nuclear operations.
