Klick Health today announced the inaugural Klick Ideas Exchange, a pioneering event that will bring together some of the biggest thinkers in health and business to explore how emerging technologies and data can radically change the way health care is delivered and how health care companies work. Klick Ideas Exchange aims to accelerate the adoption of cutting-edge technological innovation by bringing together visionary leaders with the nation’s top biopharma CEOs.

The invitation-only event is being held in Philadelphia on June 15th as a precursor to the BIO International Convention with an all-encompassing, all-star lineup of presenters and panelists that includes Drs. Eric Topol, Ezekiel Emanuel, and Daniel Kraft, biotech luminaries Martine Rothblatt, Craig Venter, and RJ Kirk, and business management gurus Tom Peters and Gary Hamel.

“The attending executives will benefit from access to the viewpoints and counterpoints of some of the greatest leaders and thinkers of our time,” said event co-chair, incoming Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) Chairman, and CEO of Acorda Therapeutics Inc., Dr. Ron Cohen. “Ideas Exchange will be a unique experience, connecting the leaders of the biopharma industry and helping to chart the exciting changes ahead.”

BIO President and CEO Jim Greenwood said, “As the association dedicated to furthering biomedical innovation and breaking down barriers which impede lifesaving technologies, we are proud to help orchestrate such a dynamic and innovation-driven afternoon.”

“Health and technology are advancing at such an exponential rate and we’ve arrived at an amazing inflection point in their convergence,” said Klick CEO and event curator Leerom Segal. “Ideas Exchange will touch on cutting-edge ideas and technologies that are shaping the future of digital health—from 21st century cures, personalized medicine and reimbursement to organizational design and leadership.”

The event will also feature interactive demonstrations of emerging technologies being adapted for health care in extraordinary new ways using holograms, 3D printing, virtual reality and large-scale projection mapping.
