Destatis - Statistisches Bundesamt Deutschland : Price index for residential buildings November 2012: +2.5% on a year earlier

WIESBADEN- In November 2012, the construction price index for conventionally constructed new residential buildings (construction work performed at the building; including value-added tax) in Germany was up 2.5% compared with November 2011. In August 2012, as reported by the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), the price index increased also 2.5% on a year earlier. Compared with August 2012, the price index for residential buildings rose up 0.3% in November 2012. 

Concerning non-residential buildings, in November 2012, the price index was up 2.4% for office buildings compared with November 2011. For industrial buildings the index rose up 2.3%. For road construction the price index rose 3.3% compared with the corresponding month of the preceding year.
