AUGUSTA, N.J., Jan. 18, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- New Orleans legends and Louisiana cuisine await festivalgoers at Michael Arnone's 29th Annual Crawfish Fest, June 1-3, 2018 at the Sussex County Fairgrounds in Augusta NJ. Twenty-three musical entertainers will perform over three stages.

Two-time Grammy winner Taj Mahal headlines on Sunday, with Samantha Fish opening for Taj.  George Porter Jr., a founding member of the New Orleans funk group, the Meters, will headline the Pavilion stage with his Runnin' Pardners. The Saturday night Main Stage headliner is Tab Benoit, and five-time Grammy nominee Marcia Ball will perform on the Pavilion Stage.

As always the fest does a great job of mixing up the lineup to include beloved fan favorites and introduce new acts as well. This year longtime venerated acts Bonerama, Samantha Fish, Jumpin' Johnny Sansone, Brother Joscephus and the Love Revolution and the Matt Angus Thing are back. Joining them are Crawfish Fest newcomers Mike Farris, Ryan Montbleau and a Gospel set from Eli "Paperboy" Reed in addition to his nighttime set. The young guitar phenom Brandon "Taz" Niederauer will appear on the Main Stage.

Amanda Shaw and the Cute Guys, Rosie Ledet, Jeffery Broussard and the Creole Cowboys, Terry and the Zydeco Bad Boys, the Zydeco Revelators and Jenny and the Felines will fill the Dance Hall throughout the weekend.

Campers will enjoy three exclusive shows on both Friday and Saturday This year's performances include Jon Cleary, Big Sam's Funky Nation, Honey Island Swamp Band, Rosie Ledet, Eli "Paperboy" Reed and Katie Henry.

Michael Arnone's Crawfish Fest dishes are priced at $12 or less and bring to New Jersey the great food dishes that are hard to find elsewhere in the Northeast. Michael's crew will be serving Jambalaya, Boiled Crawfish, Po-Boys, Crawfish Etouffee and much more.
