The "50 over 50" award recognizes the most distinguished public servants in New York City who have committed decades of their life to making New York City a better place. The award ceremony will be held in Ainsworth Park on Monday, January 29, 2018. Honorees include New York's most prominent leaders in government, business and media over the age of fifty, including Bill Bratton, David Dinkins, Randy Weingarten, and Carmen Farina, among many others.
Molter, President and Founder of QED National, has been providing world-class IT services and solutions to leading government agencies and Fortune 500 companies for over 25 years. In addition to leading QED National, Colleen devotes herself to giving back to her community. For over 20 years, Colleen has been an advocate for NYC and NYS Minority and Women owned Business Enterprises (MWBEs), focusing on positive change in legislation and government processes to increase their participation. Most recently, working closely with the NYC board, her efforts contributed to the passage of important legislation around MWBE laws, allowing NY City agencies to procure goods and services up to $150,000 from MWBE firms without competitive bids.
