Classical Conversations leaders offer an introduction to the classical home education model for families looking for a choice in education for their children on Saturday, January 30.

On Saturday, January 30 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at Riverside Woodcrest Library, area directors for Classical Conversations will welcome families who are interested in a home-based classical Christian education for their children. The event is timed to coincide with National School Choice Week (January 24-30, 2016).

The event is a part of a larger school fair called, “Celebrate School Choice with a Love of Learning.” Various local school options including, home school, public charter school, private school, pre-school and other educational programs have been invited to share about their programs. Families will enjoy crafts, refreshments and activities.

“Educational choice is not always about picking a school, but selecting an academic program that suits your child’s learning needs and your family culture. We are so glad that National School Choice Week celebrates homeschooling and online learning in addition to traditional public, charter, and private schools,” said Mishelle Almer, director, Classical Conversations Riverside.

Classical Conversations supports homeschooling parents by cultivating the love of learning through a Christian worldview in fellowship with other families. Classical Conversations believes there are three keys to a great education: classical, Christian, and community.
