Springfeld, Illinois - Northbound traffic on Chatham Road is being detoured between Cherry Road and Laurel Street to accommodate City Water, Light and Power's emergency repairs to a broken water main. One northbound lane will reopen upon completion of repairs to the water main.
Motorists should plan to take alternative routes and should slow down and be aware of construction and repair crews and equipment in and near roadways.
