A Winter Storm Warning is now in effect for Dutchess County with a Wind Chill Warning in effect tonight for Dutchess County. Heavy snow will continue to fall mainly before 5pm. Areas of blowing snow could present additional hazards after 1pm. Sustained winds of 18-22mph with gusts as high as 36mph are expected. Latest daytime accumulation expectation is 3-7 inches on the west side of Dutchess County and 4-8 inches on the east side of the Dutchess County.

Tonight, areas of blowing snow will present potentially hazardous conditions. Sustained winds will range from 16-21mph. Wind chill values as low as -14 degrees. Nighttime snow accumulation expected to be minimal.

Dangerously low wind chill values are expected on Thursday and Friday night.
