Chinese Lunar New Year travellers welcome eased curbs

STORY: National Immigration Administration officials said that, on average, half a million people had been moved in or out of China per day since its borders opened on January 8, state media reported.

Travel in China is expected to peak on Friday (January 20) ahead of the Lunar New Year holidays, also known as the Spring Festival, which officially starts on January 21.
