The Board is pleased to announce that the proposed change of the name of the Company from "China Unienergy Group Limited ʕ਷Ꮄሯঐ๕ණྠϞࠢʮ̡ "to "Southern Energy Holdings Group Limited ی˙ঐ๕છٰණྠϞࠢʮ̡" has become effective from 3 December 2018 pursuant to the Certificate of Incorporation on Change of Name issued by the Registry of Companies in the Cayman Islands.

CHANGE OF STOCK SHORT NAME

The English stock short name of the Company for trading in the Shares on the Stock Exchange will be changed from "CH UNIENERGY" to "SOUTHERN ENERGY" and the Chinese stock short name will be changed from "ʕ਷Ꮄሯঐ๕ " to " ی˙ঐ๕", with effect from 9:00 a.m. on 11 January 2019 (Friday). The stock code of the Company on the Stock Exchange will remain unchanged as "1573".

CHANGE OF COMPANY WEBSITE

The website address of the Company will be changed from "www.unienergy.hk" to "www.nfny.hk" with effect from 11 January 2019.

References are made to the announcement of Southern Energy Holdings Group Limited (formerly known as China Unienergy Group Limited) (the "Company") dated 10 September 2018 and the circular of the Company dated 9 November 2018 (the "Circular") in respect of, among others, the Proposed Change of Company Name and the announcement of the Company dated 29 November 2018 relating to the poll results of the EGM held on 29 November 2018. Capitalised terms used herein shall have the same meanings as those defined in the Circular unless the context requires otherwise.

CHANGE OF COMPANY NAME

The Board is pleased to announce that subsequent to the passing of a special resolution in relation to the Proposed Change of Company Name by the Shareholders at the EGM held on 29 November 2018, the Certificate of Incorporation on Change of Name was issued by the Registry of Companies in the Cayman Islands on 3 December 2018 certifying that the change of the name of the Company from "China Unienergy Group Limited ʕ਷Ꮄሯঐ๕ණྠϞࠢʮ̡" to "Southern Energy Holdings Group Limited ی˙ঐ๕છٰණྠϞࠢʮ̡" has been registered. The Certificate of Registration of Alteration of Name of Registered Non-Hong Kong Company was issued by the Registrar of Companies in Hong Kong on 28 December 2018 confirming the registration of the new company name of the Company in Hong Kong under Part 16 of the Companies Ordinance (Chapter 622 of the Laws of Hong Kong).

EFFECTS OF THE CHANGE OF COMPANY NAME

The change of the name of the Company will not affect any of the rights of the existing Shareholders or the Company's daily business operations and/or its financial position. All existing share certificates of the Company in issue bearing the former name of the Company will continue to be evidence of title to the shares of the Company and will continue to be valid for trading, settlement, registration and delivery purposes. There will not be any arrangement for free exchange of the existing share certificates of the Company for new share certificates printed in the new name of the Company. With effect from 11 January 2019, new share certificates will be issued in the new name of the Company.

The English stock short name of the Company for trading in the Shares on the Stock Exchange will be changed from "CH UNIENERGY" to "SOUTHERN ENERGY" and the Chinese stock short name will be changed from "ʕ਷Ꮄሯঐ๕ " to " ی˙ঐ๕", with effect from 9:00 a.m. on 11 January 2019 (Friday). The stock code of the Company on the Stock Exchange will remain unchanged as "1573".

CHANGE OF COMPANY WEBSITE

The website address of the Company will be changed from "www.unienergy.hk" to "www.nfny.hk" with effect from 11 January 2019.
