Intensified Training Work Launch Meeting Convened for Welding and Building Metal Structure Project Bases of 44th World Skills Competition

On January 3rd, the intensified training work launch meeting for the welding and building metal structure project bases of the 44th World Skills Competition was convened at CRIBC. The meeting was attended by experts and coaches from the two bases and 5 intensified training competitors in the welding project, as well as MCC Group Employee Director and Organ Party Committee Secretary Lin Jinzhen, CRIBC General Manager Zhu Jianguo and CECWA Secretary General Liu Jingfeng. The meeting was presided over by Group Company Human Resources Department Director Xu Zhongguo.

Zhu Jianguo gave a warm welcome to all the experts, coaches and competitors, then pointed out that CRIBC has undertaken intensified training base tasks for many competitions, gaining excellent results. In this competition, CRIBC will support the work of the bases as always and make efforts to attain more good results! As an expert group leader in the welding project, Liu Jingfeng introduced the preparations of the bases and the qualification plan involving the selection of 2 contestants from among 5 in the welding project. As a metal structure building project expert group leader, Ma Dezhi introduced the qualification situation of selecting 5 contestants out of 10, and illustrated the follow-up arrangements. Lin Jinzhen then put forward 3 requirements for the intensified training of the bases: first, it is necessary to make effective intensified training selection plans. The bases shall stand at the commanding height of the country to ensure scientific, reasonable, fair and just intensified training and selection, and cultivate and select the top technical talents in the country. Second, it is necessary to consider such aspects as technological level, contest experience, personnel structure and so on in order to prepare a domestically first-class expert and coach team. Third, all relevant units shall coordinate and cooperate, perform their own functions, bear their own responsibilities and complete the support and guarantee work to high standards. Lin Jinzhen also encouraged the contestants to cherish this chance to positively learn and train hard so as to realize the promotion of their personal skill levels and the comprehensive promotion of their personal culture and behavior, thereby reaching new heights in their respective vocational careers.
