Castleton Commodities International LLC (“CCI” or the “Company”) announced the hiring of Craig Jarchow as President of CCI Upstream. Mr. Jarchow will be based in the Company’s Houston office where he will drive the development of CCI’s upstream natural gas asset acquisition and development strategy.

Mr. Jarchow has worked in the upstream sector for over 23 years in a variety of senior roles. Prior to joining CCI, he served as an investor, board member and advisor to portfolio company CEOs for Pine Brook Road Partners, an investment firm focused on energy and financial services. Mr. Jarchow previously sourced and structured energy transactions for First Reserve Corporation’s oil and gas practice and, before that, spent seven years at Apache Corporation, ultimately managing the company’s exploration and development drilling in the Gulf of Mexico region. Mr. Jarchow began his career as a senior geophysicist at Amoco Corporation.

He holds a B.A. in Geology from the University of California Santa Barbara, an M.S. and Ph.D. in Geophysics from Stanford University, and an M.B.A. from the Sloan School of Management at MIT.
