CIRAD Centre de Coopération International : , the expert in tropical fruit and vegetables, will be at the Fruit Logistica 2017 fair

CIRAD will be at the Fruit Logistica fair in Berlin from 8 to 10 February 2017. It will be presenting a selection of its expertise and innovations, alongside its subsidiary Vitropic and the Market News Service, a group of economic experts from CIRAD. Fruit Logistica is a global rendezvous for the fruit and vegetable trade, and each year, it brings together almost 3000 exhibitors from some 80 countries and more than 70 000 visitors from 130 countries. CIRAD is in Hall 25, stand C05.

CIRAD is participating in the 2017 Berlin international fruit trade fair to be held this year from 8 to 10 February. Fruit Logistica is a global rendezvous for the fruit and vegetable trade, and is also a platform for exchanges with international fruit and vegetable market professionals.

What FruiTrop has to offer

On the stand, visitors will also be able to see all FruiTrop has to offer:

• The fruitrop.com website: economic and technical information in English and French, in one click

• The journal FruiTrop, the monthly journal containing news about trade flows of fresh and processed tropical fruits, fresh citrus, and counter-season fruits. Aimed at a readership of economic and political decision makers in these sectors, it is published in French and English. FruiTrop is distributed in more than 50 countries.

• FruiTrop weekly, a decision support tool on the banana and avocado markets.

FruiTrop has been at the Fruit Logistica fair for more than 10 years, and this year in particular will be presenting a 272-page reference book on the global banana trade (FOCUS collection).

FruiTrop products are the result of work by the Market News Service, an economic study unit at CIRAD. Its experts work closely with professionals from the fresh and processed fruit and vegetable sector worldwide.
