Secretary General of the Council of Saudi Chambers (CSC) Dr. Saud Al Meshari met with Chargé d'affaires at the Embassy of Ghana in Saudi Arabia, Marcel Domayele, where the two discussed ways to enhance and elevate economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.
Dr. Al Meshari started by noting the distinguished relations joining the two countries, and their significance to their economic and trade relations, noting that both countries possess resources that should be capitalized through bilateral meetings between their respective business sectors. He expressed CSC's readiness to facilitate any challenges in order to help both countries achieve partnerships and strategies that reflect their respective goals.
For his part, the Ghanaian Ambassador assured his country's interest in enhancing its cooperation with the Kingdom, noting the vast investment opportunities in Ghana, particularly, in precious metals such as gold, diamond, manganese, steel, and iron; and in the agriculture, tourism, and services sectors. He also highlighted some of Ghana's incentives, such as its open market and geographic position as a gateway to West Africa, as well as its climate and political stability.

The Ghanaian Ambassador encouraged Saudi businesspeople to visit Ghana and explore the opportunities in its different sectors, noting the successful experiences of Saudi investors in the Ghanaian market, which offers significant facilitations and incentives to foreign investors, such as guarantees and tax exemptions.
