Secretary General of the Council of Saudi Chambers (CS) Dr. Saud Al Meshari received in his office H.E. Belgium's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Gert Creel, where the two discussed ways to enhance trade and investment cooperation between the two friendly countries.
Dr. Al Meshari started by praising the firm relations joining the two countries, which continue to grow, stressing that the Saudi and Belgian business sectors must play an effective role in further enhancing their economic relations. He encouraged both sides to intensify their business delegation exchanges, particularly concerning top priority sectors in both countries; in addition to organizing joint economic events that shed light on the two countries' respective investment opportunities.
For his part, Mr. Creel assured Belgium's business sector's keenness on having an effective partnership with their Saudi counterpart, especially in fields such as petrochemicals, constructions, foodstuffs, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, energy, transportation, education, training, and logistics.

The Belgian Ambassador added that his country looks forward to participating in achieving the Saudi Vision 2030 through increasing their exports and investments in the Kingdom, which, despite their increase, remain modest compared to the vast opportunities available in the Saudi market. He assured that the Kingdom's Vision and economic decisions boosted the trust of international investors in the Saudi market and investment environment.
