The critically-acclaimed recent Broadway production of "Romeo and Juliet" is expanding to an additional 300 movie theaters for 800 showtimes nationwide through Fathom's Digital Broadcast Network on Thursday, Feb. 13 and Friday, Feb. 14 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 16 at 2 p.m. (all times local). Presented by Fathom Events, Screenvision and BroadwayHD, the highly-buzzed-about production stars Orlando Bloom in his Broadway debut opposite the gifted Tony®-nominated Condola Rashad. The production, which had a limited 16-week engagement, was the first time in over 36 years the play has been produced for Broadway.

Tickets for the additional showings of "Romeo and Juliet" are available at participating theater box offices and online at www.FathomEvents.com. For a complete list of Fathom Event theater locations and prices, visit the Fathom Events website (theaters and participants are subject to change).

Captured live in Nov. 2013 at New York's Richard Rodgers Theatre by multiple high-definition cameras, the stunningly modern stage production was directed on stage by five-time Tony® nominee David Leveaux and for the cinemas by Don Roy King (Saturday Night Live). In addition to Bloom and Rashad, the cast includes Christian Camargo (The Hurt Locker, Dexter), Justin Guarini (American Idol, American Idiot), Tony® Award winners Brent Carver (Kiss of the Spider Woman, Sleepy Hollow), Chuck Cooper (Law & Order, American Gangster) and two-time Tony® nominee Jayne Houdyshell (Follies).

"Fathom has the perfect Valentine's Day gift this year for theater and Shakespeare fans across the country with this incredibly powerful Broadway production, captured during its limited Broadway run," said Shelly Maxwell, executive vice president of Fathom Events. "Orlando Bloom and Condola Rashad's portrayals of 'Romeo and Juliet' will long be remembered by fans who attend this exclusive, big screen experience."

"Our goal for BroadwayHD is to make Broadway more accessible to people across the country," said Bonnie Comley, co-producer of Romeo and Juliet, co-founder of BroadwayHD. "Through Fathom and Screenvision's partnership, we're excited to expand the reach of this exclusive content."
