Brisbane City Council wishes to advise of temporary traffic changes on the Inner City Bypass (ICB) over five consecutive weekends from Friday 12 January to Monday 12 February.
During these weekends, the following traffic changes will be in place:

  • the ICB eastbound will be reduced to one lane between Legacy Way and the Herston Road exit from 7pm to 5am during January and 8pm to 5am during February
  • the Herston Road exit will be closed from 7pm to 5am during January and 8pm to 5am during February. A signed detour will be in place via Lutwyche Road and Bowen Bridge Road.
  • the ICB eastbound will be reduced to two lanes between Legacy Way and the Herston Road exit from 5am to 7pm during January and 5am to 8pm during February.

Signage and traffic control will be in place to direct motorists, as required.
Council is widening the ICB between Legacy Way and the RNA tunnel to increase capacity and allow for future growth along the key corridor.
