The board offers strategic leadership for the organization, guiding the work of more than 4,100 Clubs and BGCA affiliated Youth Centers on U.S. military installations worldwide. Each year Clubs impact nearly 4 million kids and teens. Wayne DeVeydt
Wayne DeVeydt serves as executive vice president and chief financial officer for Anthem, Inc. In this position, he is responsible for overseeing the financial operations associated with the company's $74 billion in annual revenues and leads the following areas: treasury functions; investor relations; budgeting and forecasting; financial reporting; tax planning and compliance; and accounting.
Anthem is one of the nation's leading health benefits companies serving nearly 69 million people through its affiliated companies. DeVeydt joined Anthem in 2005 as senior vice president and chief accounting officer. He later became chief of staff to the chairman and chief executive officer before becoming chief financial officer in 2007. Before joining Anthem, Mr. DeVeydt was a partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers serving in several leadership roles during his time with the company.
DeVeydt is an active leader in his community including serving as a board member for the YMCA of Greater Indianapolis and the Cancer Support Community. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri in St. Louis and currently resides in Indianapolis, Indiana.
