An article published by the newspaper Valor Econômico on January 18th, 2018, under the title 'Caixa Seguridade', reports, among other information, that BB Seguridade made a proposal to Caixa Econômica Federal for its insurance distribution network.
We request clarification on the topic above up to January 19th, 2018, at 9:00 AM, confirming or not, and including other material information.

Subject: Clarification to the Notification 86/2018-SAE

Dear Sirs,

In response to the clarification request afore mentioned regarding to the news published by the newspaper Valor Econômico, on January 18th, 2018, under the title 'Caixa Seguridade', we hereby inform that it was made, by one of BB Seguridade's affiliates, a nonbinding indication of interest to distribute insurance products in Caixa's distribution network. However, considering the lack of materiality, as well the nonbinding aspect, it was not identified the necessity to disclose this information to the market, since the assessment of new opportunities to diversify the distribution network of their products is a routine for the companies of the conglomerate.

Lastly, BB Seguridade reinforces its commitment to transparency and equal treatment of information disclosure.
