Bakkavör : US Senior Management Team changes

Bakkavor Group, the leading provider of fresh prepared food, today announces that after a three-year assignment as President of Bakkavor USA, Ivan Clingan has made the decision to return to the UK. Ben Waldron, current Head of Strategic Development, will replace Ivan as President of Bakkavor USA, effective from 14 January 2019.

Ben has been with Bakkavor for seven years, having initially joined as Group Financial Controller. More recently, Ben took on the new role of Head of Strategic Development, where he has worked closely with the Management Board to develop our overall strategy across the Group. He has spent considerable time in the US in recent years, developing our category and customer approach to the market and our plans for future growth. He has also led our corporate development activity including the acquisition of Haydens in the UK, the disposal of Vaco and Anglia Crown, as well as supporting the business in its initial public offering. Prior to Bakkavor, Ben worked as a director at Ernst & Young, supporting clients such as Unilever, Diageo, BA and Hilton.

Ivan will remain in the US to advise and support Ben in the transition before returning to the UK in a few months time.
