BTIG, LLC announced today that Drew Doscher has joined the firm as a Managing Director and Head of Fixed Income Credit. Mr. Doscher will launch BTIG’s distressed debt and trade claim business, and will work to expand the firm’s high-yield and convertible bond capabilities. Based in New York, he will report to Anton LeRoy, Managing Director and Head of Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities, at BTIG.

“Drew will be instrumental in enhancing our credit offering and increasing our fixed income client coverage. His distressed-debt expertise complements our distressed equity desk, and will further strengthen the foundation our team has built to date,” said Mr. LeRoy.

With extensive industry experience, Mr. Doscher has spent his career focused on illiquid markets across high yield, distressed debt, loans, trade claims and private equities. Prior to BTIG, he was Head of Distressed-Debt Trading at Jefferies. Earlier in his career, Mr. Doscher traded distressed debt at Lehman, and later managed the global distressed-debt trading platforms at Barclays and UBS.

“With a long history in the credit space, Drew is a proven leader,” said Steven Starker, Co-Founder, of BTIG. “His unique network of relationships and deep understanding of the markets will skillfully serve the needs of our growing global client base.”
