Named “Champion of Technology” by Law Technology News, Mr. Rudoy brings more than 20 years of experience in the legal technology and services industries to his new role, where he will advise organizations on complex domestic and international e-discovery, information governance and knowledge and records management matters. Fluent in several languages, he has deep technical experience in conducting large-scale, cross-border forensic engagements, including global document preservation, collection and cross-border data transfer in support of Foreign Corrupt Practices Act investigations, commercial litigation, international arbitration and antitrust second request efforts.

“The effective use of technology has become a critical aspect of counsels’ roles in addressing their clients’ needs,” said Carl W. Pergola, executive director of BDO Consulting. “George’s diverse technical background will be invaluable to law firms and companies as they leverage today’s technologies to deliver more strategic and efficient outcomes.”

“Advancements in artificial intelligence, analytics and technology-assisted review help organizations and their counsel hone their focus and reduce cost and risk,” said Stephanie Giammarco, partner and Forensic Technology Services practice leader. “George has his finger on the pulse of emerging legal technology, as well as the challenges they pose, providing clients with insightful guidance to meet compliance requirements and turn information into a corporate asset.”

“E-discovery continues to evolve from a once-reactive service to a strategic initiative for most businesses,” said Mr. Rudoy. “I look forward to working with BDO’s esteemed group of forensic technology professionals to help clients proactively manage their information.”

Mr. Rudoy is a founding member of the eDiscovery Training Academy and Advanced eDiscovery Institute at Georgetown Law Center.
