The 'Go For It' Business Start Programme is encouraging budding entrepreneurs to contact their local enterprise centre for help developing an idea or starting a business.

If you're thinking of setting up a business in Northern Ireland, you've probably got a million questions in your head. How do I do market research? How do I write a robust business plan? What do I need to be aware of when employing people? How do I deal with tax?

Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council, working in partnership with Enterprise Northern Ireland, is delivering the 'Go for It' Business Start Programme in the borough to help answer those important questions.

With support from three of the Local Enterprise Centres - Armagh Business Centre, Banbridge Enterprise Centre and CIDO Innovation Centre - the 'Go For It' programme will help with the following elements of starting a business:

  • clarify your business idea;
  • spot potential problems;
  • set out your goals;
  • measure your progress;
  • access finance to start and grow your business.

Through the 'Go For It' Business Start Programme, you will develop a robust business plan and gain the confidence to start your business on a solid footing.

If you have a business idea you'd like to develop or if you are thinking about starting a business, contact your local enterprise centre and they will support you through the process.
